Samburu County natural Resources Forum is a CBO in samburu county formed in 2012 as a pilot project by East African Wild Life Society alongside Kwale,Nakuru and Laikipia Counties Natural Resources Networks to advocate on the conservation, protection and sustainable development of natural resources within their respective counties. The forum is registered under the ministry of Social Services. The project was funded by Wide Wide Fund (WWF) through East African Wild Life Society and the project lasted for two and half years.
Their activities revolve around Forests and water catchment areas, Land, Minerals and Environment. Current Projects- Working on conservancies in the area to advocate for the implementation of Wildlife Management Act 2014.
